This is the unique original Gouache painting by Eric Kincaid.

An adaptation of the Iroquois legend of how they Robin came by his famous red breast. A lonely cold hunter is near death but a Robin hears his cry and fans the remnants of the fire with his wings before carrying kindling back to the trapper - scorching his feathers in the process.

Fine and subtly coloured art from Eric Kinkaid who drew everything from Dan Dare to Tales From The Riverbank.

Publication yet to be determined but likely from Treasure about 1970.
